What Is DDP Shipping?
DDP means Delivered Duty Paid.

These expenses are normally included in the shipping quote instead of being collected from the recipient at delivery.
For the customer, this can provide a clearer estimate of the total delivered cost.
However, DDP does not mean that:

DAP means Delivered at Place.
With DAP shipping, transportation is arranged to the destination, but the recipient may be responsible for import duties, taxes, brokerage charges, or customs fees when the package enters the destination country.
The carrier or customs authority may contact the recipient for payment or additional information before delivery.
Shopify explains that DDP places payable import costs on the seller, while DAP normally requires the customer to pay duties and import taxes upon delivery.

- Restricted products

Delivery times should always be treated as estimates.
Does DDP Guarantee No Additional Charges?
A properly arranged DDP shipment is intended to include applicable import duties and taxes in the amount paid by the shipper. Shopify advises merchants that when duties are collected in advance, the corresponding DDP shipping service must actually be used; otherwise, the customer may be charged again at delivery.
Additional charges may still result from circumstances such as:

Tracking International Packages
