AncientTao is a China-based personal sourcing service. We help overseas customers find and purchase tea ware, incense accessories, lacquerware, traditional gifts, home decor, and other products from Chinese marketplaces and sellers.

Our sourcing channels include Taobao, Tmall, JD.com, 1688, and independent Chinese sellers. We are not a traditional online retailer. We do not hold inventory or add hidden retail markups. Each product is purchased only after you review and approve the quote.

Send us a product link, image, or description from Taobao, 1688, or other Chinese marketplaces.

Pay the First Invoice

Pay the product cost, China domestic shipping, and sourcing service fee.

Inspection in China

We receive the products at our China receiving location and send unedited inspection photos or videos.

Approve International Shipping

Review the packed shipping quote before dispatch.

Packing and Delivery

We reinforce the packaging, ship the parcel, and provide tracking.

Our Sourcing Service Fees

The sourcing service fee is based on the total product value within one sourcing order. The fee applies whether the order contains one product or several.

Starter $29.99 Product value up to $100
Standard $44.99 Product value $101 - $250
Plus $69.99 Product value $251 - $500

The service fee covers product sourcing, seller communication, purchasing, receiving, visual inspection, inspection photos or videos, packaging preparation, and international shipping coordination. It does not include product cost, China domestic shipping, international shipping, customs duties, or payment processing fees. All costs are clearly disclosed before each payment.

Transparent Pricing. No Hidden Markups.

We make every cost easy to understand. Your quote lists the actual product cost, China domestic shipping, and sourcing service fee separately. International shipping is quoted separately after inspection and packing, when the final package weight and dimensions are available.

We do not hide our service earnings inside the product price.
Careful packaging and inspection of sourced products

Inspection Before Shipping

Every order receives a basic visual inspection before international shipping. We check product type, quantity, visible condition, and obvious differences from the approved listing.

Our inspection is not a laboratory test, professional authenticity certification, or technical safety inspection. You review and approve the inspection photos or videos before the package is shipped internationally.

If we identify a visible problem, we will contact you and assist with a return, exchange, or refund request according to the Chinese seller's policy.
