1. The Two-Stage Sourcing and Freight Billing Architecture
To eliminate structural overcharging and guarantee absolute financial transparency, AncientTao utilizes a mandatory Two-Stage Logistics Billing System.
  • Stage 1 Checkout Notification: When you settle your first-stage Milestone 1 Invoice (covering the product procurement base deposit and our fixed 19.99 USD service fee), the international shipping line item at checkout will display 0.00 USD. This 0.00 USD figure explicitly does NOT denote free shipping or promotional complimentary freight. It indicates that your international shipping cost is currently uncalculated, awaiting live volumetric weighing at our studio to ensure you pay the exact vendor rate.
  • Stage 2 Freight Liquidation: Once your procured goods arrive safely at our fulfillment studio and pass our rigorous quality control inspection, the parcel is sealed, measured, and weighed. We then generate your Milestone 2 Invoice based on the live shipping rates. Your parcel will be released into the international dispatch stream immediately upon the successful liquidation of this freight invoice.
2. Fulfillment and Processing Timelines
Because we physically aggregate and audit products from separate independent source suppliers and regional artisans, domestic processing timelines are structured as follows:
  • Supplier-to-Studio Transit: It typically takes 1 to 3 business days for items to arrive from the source supplier to our domestic quality inspection studio.
  • Quality Assessment and Reinforcement: Within 24 hours of arrival, our sourcing specialists complete a live visual check, compile inspection media for client approval, wrap the items in high-density 3-layer anti-shock bubble reinforcement, and calculate the international freight.
3. Premium International Transit and DDP Custom Protection
We route all eligible North American and European shipments through specialized, high-tier BBC (Business-to-Consumer Cross-Border) dedicated express postal channels.
  • Estimated Delivery Window: Once released from our studio, premium international transit typically takes 8 to 13 business days to reach most metropolitan destinations in the United States.
  • Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) Structural Exemption: To maximize client convenience, our dedicated shipping line operates under full DDP terms for all eligible routes. All mandatory import duties, destination customs clearance tariffs, and gateway processing taxes are entirely pre-cleared and covered by our logistics pipeline. The price stated in your Milestone 2 Invoice is all-inclusive, and you will encounter no unexpected customs demands or delivery-gate tax fees at your doorstep.
  • Non-DDP Regional Destinations: For highly remote destinations or specific global regions where DDP dedicated channels are unavailable, the Client retains full legal and financial responsibility for any local import import tariffs, customs valuations, or administrative filing fees mandated by local border authorities.
4. Institutional Disclaimers and Sovereign Delays
While our logistics team monitors every cross-border shipment daily, international supply chains are subject to external force majeure. AncientTao exerts zero operational jurisdiction over, and explicitly disclaims all liability for, transit delays stemming from:
  • Sovereign customs holiday backlogs or random border security audits.
  • Severe global weather patterns or international flight capacity disruptions.
  • Local delivery carrier peak-season backlogs (such as Black Friday or Christmas).
  • Postal routing delivery address errors made by the Client.
5. Automated Order Tracking Protocols
The exact moment your reinforced parcel is injected into the international shipping stream, our system generates a localized global tracking number. This tracking credential will be transmitted instantly to your verified email address. You may utilize this tracking code directly via our on-site tracking infrastructure or via global postal tracing utilities to monitor live doorstep proximity.
6. Sourcing Restrictions and Fragile Goods
AncientTao prioritizes safe, lawful international transport. Specific oversized structural items, highly fragile antiquities, hazardous mineral powders, liquids, or items containing restricted regional components cannot be legally exported via standard express postal lines. If our sourcing desk determines that a requested item falls under shipping restrictions or cannot be securely armored for cross-border transit, we will formally alert you and abort the procurement process prior to capturing supplier capital.
